Lara is a medical doctor and a clinician scientist at the Institute of Neurogenetics in Luebeck. As a student, she started working scientifically and joined the team of Christine Klein and Katja Lohmann in 2016. She focuses her research on the clinical and molecular genetics of movement disorders and supports the Monogenic Network team. ​
