Faraz is a computer scientist, using data-driven approaches to better understand the occurrence and course of disorders. He focuses on turning that knowledge into tools that detect and predict the course and prescribe changes to intervene, prevent, or manage undesirable aging for a better one. He leverages large multi-modal data sets of genomics, multi-omics, imaging, wearables, and clinical measurements at the scale of thousands of people over the span of many years. He is a strong proponent of open science, democratization of technology, diversity, and inclusion.
