Biography

Micol completed her residency in Neurology in 2018 and her PhD in Neuroscience in 2021 at the Department of Brain and Behavioural Sciences, University of Pavia under the supervision of Prof. C. Tassorelli. She is actually Assistant Professor of Neurology and working as neurologist at Movement Disorder Center and Neurorehabilitation Unit at IRCCS Mondino Foundation, Pavia.
Since 2017, she collaborates with Prof. EM. Valente and she is focusing her research activity on the genetic basis of Parkinson’s Disease aming at identifing reliable biomarkers to improve clinical management and treatment of PD patients.
