Biography

Johanna Junker is a neurologist and research fellow at the Institute of Neurogenetics and University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein in Luebeck, Germany focusing on clinical care and research. She studied medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke (Germany), University Miguel Hernandez of Elche (Alicante, Spain), Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), and the University Catolica of Chile (Santiago de Chile) and accessed a research exchange at the Federal University of Parana in Curitiba, Brazil funded by the BVMD/IFMSA. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Witten/Herdecke in 2016 and completed her neurology training at the University Hospital of Lübeck in 2021.
