Benjamin Pizarro Galleguillos, MD

I am a Radiologist with an interest in Neuroradiology, doing a PhD in Medical Science at Universidad de Chile. I have participated in several research projects in biomedicine, ranging from genetics to imaging techniques. Nowadays, I am working in imaging genetics applied to neuromuscular disorders and movement disorders, using machine learning and biostatistics tools to develop new biomarkers for precision medicine. As part of GP2, I work on a project under the supervision of María Leonor Bustamante and Christine Klein aiming to understand the genetics of Parkinson’s Disease in the Chilean Admixed Population.
