Biography
I am a bioinformatician with 5+ years experience in the analysis of multi-omics data, including (mainly) WGS, metabolomics, proteomics, and RNA-seq. My primary focus centers on applying data science and biostatistics to gain insights into, diagnose, and address rare and complex diseases.
Grounded in a robust foundation of biology, computational methods/programming, and biostatistics, I possess proficiency in R and Bash scripting, which helps me smoothly navigating large-scale biological databases. My experience includes some application of machine learning to biological problem-solving, utilizing R and Python.
As a trilingual professional (English, Portuguese, and Spanish) with a global work footprint spanning three countries, I bring a diverse perspective to the field. With authorship credits in 10+ research papers, I am a diligent scientist committed to advanced multi-omics data analysis. Eager to connect and explore synergies in the realm of bioinformatics and progressive research. 🧬💻🌍
