Biography
Dr. Philip B. Adebayo is an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Aga Khan University and the Aga Khan Hospital, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Since joining in February 2017, he has been instrumental in strengthening neurological education, research, and clinical services. An educator since his residency, he began his faculty career at Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, in 2011 after completing his fellowship in Internal Medicine and Neurology.
Dr. Adebayo teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate neurology and is actively developing a multidisciplinary neurosciences team focused on service delivery, training, and research in Tanzania. His clinical and research interests include stroke, movement disorders, and clinical neurophysiology, and he has over 100 research publications spanning these and related areas of neurological science.
