Michiko Kimura Bruno, MD
Biography
Dr. Michiko Kimura Bruno earned her medical degree from Kyoto University Medical School in Japan in 1996. She completed her neurology residency at Weill-Cornell University New York Presbyterian Hospital Program in New York, NY in 2002 and completed a Movement Disorder Fellowship at Human Motor Control Section, NINDS, NIH in Bethesda Maryland in 2004. After her fellowship, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she has been in private practice for more than 15 years. She joined the Queens Medical Center in 2020 to build the first Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorder Center for the state. She also holds an academic appointment at John A. Burns Medical School at University of Hawaii as a clinical assistant professor.
