Biography

My research focuses on understanding the genetic basis of human traits and diseases through statistical analysis of large-scale genomic and biological data. My current work centres on neurodegenerative disorders, particularly the genomic determinants of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and dementia. I have a specific interest in the mitochondrial genome and its role in disease.
