Carolyn Sue, PhD
Biography
Carolyn is a Professor in the Department of Neurogenetics at the Kolling Institute, University of Sydney and at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She is an MRFF NHMRC Practitioner Fellow. She studied medicine at the University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia and completed her PhD at University of Sydney. She undertook her post-doctoral training at Columbia University (where she was mentored by Salvatore DiMauro, Eric Schon and Stan Fahn). She was awarded an Order of Australia Honour (AM) for her contributions to medicine in 2019 and was admitted to the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Research as a Fellow in 2020.
