Biography

Carlos Hernández is a PhD student in the Doctorado en Ciencias e Innovación en Medicina at the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. He is affiliated with the Centro de Genética y Genómica at the same university. He holds a degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Biochemistry from the Universidad de Chile. His research focuses on the genetics of Parkinson’s disease in underrepresented populations and the comorbidities associated with Parkinson’s disease.
