Biography
Prof. Dr. Bernhard Haslinger is a senior physician in charge of the special outpatient clinic for Parkinson’s syndromes and other movement disorders as well as the outpatient clinic for botulinum toxin therapy.
The clinical focus is on the diagnosis and therapy of patients with Parkinson’s syndromes, tremor, dystonia, etc.
Scientifically, he is primarily concerned with functional imaging techniques (fMRI and PET) for the (patho-)physiology of the sensorimotor system, especially in patients with movement disorders. In 2006 he was awarded the “Oppenheim Prize” of the German Dystonia Society for his work on functional imaging in focal dystonia.
