I am a Clinician-Scientist and Attending Neurologist at the Section for Movement Disorders, Department of Neurology, UKSH Lübeck, and at the Institute of Neurogenetics, University of Lübeck. I lead the research group “Metabolomics of Genetic Neurodegeneration” and work at the interface of patient care and translational neuroscience. My research focuses on the genetics and metabolomics of Parkinson’s disease and Primary Brain Calcification (PBC), and my broader interests include genetic movement disorders and rare neurological diseases.
