I am a Third year Neurology resident at Saint George’s Hospital university medical center in Beirut, Lebanon. I received a bachelor in biology from the American university of Beirut, and studied medicine at the University of Balamand in Lebanon.
Following that, I worked as a postdoc research fellow at the Paris Brain Institute in Professor Jean-Christophe Corvol’s team on molecular pathophysiology and the genetics of Parkinson’s Disease.

I am currently finishing up my residency training in Lebanon and working on the genetics of Parkinson’s Disease in Lebanon, an area that has not been explored yet in the country.
