Sarah Camargos, MD, PhD

Sarah is MD an Associate Professor and Consultant Neurologist at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil, with a great interest in the genetics of movement disorders and in genotype-phenotype correlation.  Her research focuses on monogenic movement disorders and ultimately genetics of underrepresented populations. She is currently the head of Neurology Service in the Clinical Hospital at UFMG and coordinator of the Neurogenetic section of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology. She is the treasurer elected of the Pan American Section of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS) and also an editor of the MDS Podcast.
