Laurel Screven, PhD

Laurel received her BS in psychology and PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. She completed a postdoctoral research fellowship as a T32 fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with research focused on the neurobiology of hearing loss. Laurel now serves as a scientific program manager with the Center for Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias (CARD) at the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to manage projects on neurodegenerative diseases.
