Biography
Laurel received her BS in psychology and PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. She completed a postdoctoral research fellowship as a T32 fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with research focused on the neurobiology of hearing loss. After serving as a scientific project manager with the Center for Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias (CARD) at the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to manage projects in GP2, Laurel became the lead of the Project Management team of GP2 in February 2025.
