Kin Mok, MBBS, FRCP(E), PhD

Kin is a neurologist trained in Hong Kong. He joined John Hardy and Nick Wood’s neurogenetics lab at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology since 2008. Currently he is senior research fellow in Department of Neurodegenerative Disease and UK Dementia Research Institute at UCL, and adjunct associate professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
His main research interest is genetic contributions in neurodegenerative disease. He is a leading PI in the East Asian Parkinson Disease genetics study supported by MJFF. In addition to Parkinson’s disease, Dr Mok is also actively coordinating dementia studies among Chinese and East Asian in collaboration with research group at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
