Biography

My research mainly focus on Parkinson’s disease Genetics. Parkinson disease(PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease in the world. The latest Genome wide association study(GWAS) identified 90 independent genome-wide significant risk signals. On one hand , I’m going to explore the functional effects of lysosomal related signals through linking biomarker profiles with genetics. On the other hand, I’m trying to explore heterogeneity of PD with bioinformatics skills, to identify causality of genetic variants by genetic fine mapping, colocalization analysis, etc, to do prediction for non-motor symptoms by polygenic risk score, single cell data, etc.
