Patricio Olguin

Biography

Patricio is an Associate Professor at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences Institute, Universidad de Chile, Chile. Patricio received his PhD at the Universidad de Chile. He pursued his postdoctoral training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, USA, funded by Pew Trust. Currently, his group uses Drosophila melanogastermodels and human data to study the molecular mechanisms underlying gene-environment interaction in brain development, behavior, and Parkinson’s disease.
