Biography
Olaitan is the assistant coordinator of the International Parkinson’s Disease Genetics Consortium – Africa (IPDGC-Africa) and Chair of IPDGC-Africa education committee. She graduated from University of Jos and received her neurology training in UCH Ibadan, Nigeria. She worked as a senior lecturer and consultant neurologist at the University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. Ola is a Fellow of West African College of Physicians and completed MSc in Clinical Neurology at UCL-Queen Square Institute of neurology. She is currently completing her PhD at the Department of Clinical and Movement Neurosciences, UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology.
Her research interest is in identification of clinical markers of disease progression in Parkinson’s disease.
