Michael Ampofo Biography

In a multifaceted research site in which decisions become so involved with one particular thing that you cannot make progress, and good ideas that is waiting for approval to execute, Michael Ampofo stick out. Not to relax and wait for things to happen, Michael makes things happen, he works with energy and passion that make things happen, this empower me to think outside the box , set goals and pursue those goals. With a Bachelor’s Degree from Christian Service University Collage, Michael is well vessel in administration best practices and is a natural leader who has been consistently tapped in both workplace and outside work place for his leadership and key strategic initiative. What makes Michael stand out is his willingness to pursue whatever is possible for effective administration, and also his courage in identifying new ideas that often lead to breakthrough achievement and position the institution to a higher level of success and growth.
Michael joined the Neuro Research Team in 2015 and excelled in his field of work as a research assistant, Michael recently in partnership with other colleagues and medical professionals join in the formation of Parkinson support group, this support group which is first in Ghana brings together patients living with Parkinson disease, were various form of support including health education, creating awareness on Parkinson disease and negotiating with donors and sponsors for their medication supplies because their medications is very expensive, all these are extended to Parkinson patients.
Michael began his career with the public health unit of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital , as a data entry Clark were I helped in various data collections and data entry of patients, also helped in various administrative work including preparing memos and sending them across various units.
Michael work has provided him with exposure and experience in modern Administrative work and has developed a multifaceted mind-set as a result of working as a clinical researcher.
