Biography
Mario is the a research professor and leader of the Neurogenetics Working Group at Universidad Cientifica del Sur in Lima, Peru. He is senior researcher at Neurogenetics Research Center at Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Neurologicas (INCN) in Lima. Mario received his MD degree at Universidad Nacional de San Agustin in Arequipa, Peru and completed his neurology training at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima. He conducts many research projects related to genetics and neurodegeneration highlighting the Peruvian site of the Latin American Research Consortium of the Genetics of Parkinson’s disease LARGE PD.
