Biography
Guillaume is an medical genetics MD who is now doing a PhD under the supervision of Pr. Alexis Brice at the Paris Brain Institute. He aims to better characterize the mutational landscape of PD genetics, as well as the phenotype associated with known and newly identified PD genes. He’s also trying to find new Mendelian genes associated with the disease. To do so, he uses the Paris Brain Institute whole exome sequencing and whole genome long-read sequencing cohorts as a starting point, and then interrogate other database such as GP2 to replicate the interesting findings. He has also an interest on philosophy of science and ethics of research and obtained an M.A of Ethics of Research at Paris Saclay University.
