Biography

Dr. Chan Hiu Fai was graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong. She completed her internal medicine and neurology training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Subsequently, she finished her movement disorders fellowship at the University of Toronto.
Since 2014, she has worked as an Associate Consultant of the Department of Medicine of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She is also an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong and an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was the past president of the Hong Kong Movement Disorders Society. At present, she is a council member of the Hong Kong Neurological Society and a committee member of the Education Committee of the International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Society Asian & Oceanian Section (MDS-AOS). Her major interests are movement disorders and neuromodulation.
