Biography

I am a neurology specialist currently focused in care and research of patients with Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. I have a specific interest in motor and behavioural symptoms within the constellation of atypical parkinsonism associated with 4R-tau pathologies. I completed my neurology training at the Favaloro University Hospital, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2018). I have studied the insular cortex networks associated to interoceptive and social cognition tasks in patients with neurodegenerative disorders and stroke in my PhD thesis in neuroscience (2013). I am also interested in the autonomic function and its relation to neurodegenerative disease, and have skills on analysis of structural and functional MRI as well as clinical and neurocognitive evaluation of healthy individuals, and in neurological and neuropsychiatric patients.
