Biography

Elavarasi A is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She is Fellowship trained in Movement Disorders at the University of Western Ontario from Canada. She has a formal training in Medical Research from the Harvard Medical School. She is interested in Clinical Research and Epidemiology of Parkinson Disease and environmental determinants.
She has done her residency from AIIMS, New Delhi, which is a premier medical Institute in India. She is currently working on Botulinum toxin injections in the cricopharyngeus muscle for treating dysphagia in patients with dystonia. She also is interested in Botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and deep brain stimulation in Movement Disorders.
