Biography

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate with clinical rotation experience across neurology and psychiatry at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). My clinical and research interests lie in neuropharmacology, psychiatry, and neurodegenerative disorders, with ongoing contributions to projects on stroke outcomes, Parkinson’s disease, mercury neurotoxicity, and digital biomarkers of frontotemporal dysfunction. I have conducted qualitative research on caregiver burden in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, led surveys using KoboCollect with over 1,000 participants, and co-authored narrative and systematic reviews in neuropharmacology and neuroscience with a specific lens on Parkinson’s disease. I am also actively engaged in mentorship programs such as the Pharmacogenomics Global Research Network (PGRN) and collaborate with clinicians and researchers at KATH to advance patient-centered and translational research. Through these roles, I have developed strong skills in clinical data collection, literature synthesis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
