Biographie

Tessa is a South African medical doctor with a strong academic and research background in neurology. She recently worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Professor Huw Morris‘ team at University College London, contributing to the MD-GAP project, which focuses on genetic research in pathologically confirmed cases of movement disorders and dementia. She holds an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience (with Distinction) from the Queen Square Institute of Neurology, UCL, supported by the Skye Foundation. In July 2025, she will begin her specialist training in Neurology at Tygerberg Hospital, Stellenbosch University.
