Biographie
Nada AlTassan is a Principal Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KSHRC), specializing in Parkinson’s disease (PD) and complex genetic disorders. She serves on various research, ethics, and scientific committees across health and academic institutions. She began her independent research career in the Department of Genetics at KFSHRC as the head of the Behavioral Genetics Research Unit, focusing on identifying the molecular basis of complex neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. Currently, she is overseeing molecular genetics diagnosis and testing workflow. Her active research interests also include investigating the molecular basis of neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders), neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s disease), and cancers (solid tumors).
