Biography
Soraya has a PhD in human molecular genetics from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She is currently employed as a professor at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town. She and Prof Jonathan Carr are co-PI’s on a project to elucidate the genetic architecture of PD in South Africans. This is the only research group focussed on PD in the country.
