Shannon received her PhD in Molecular Genetics and completed a postdoctoral fellowship studying the development of the nervous system. While working with quantitative genomics data, she became interested in applying data science to neurobiological questions. Shannon is currently a Data Manager/Analyst with Data Tecnica International, consulting primarily for the Center for Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias (CARD) at the National Institutes of Health.
