Biography

Lucas Faria is a PhD student in Bioinformatics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. He has a bachelor’s in mathematics and master’s degree in Bioinformatics at UFMG. Lucas’s research focuses on the dynamics of admixture in admixed populations and how ancestry can be associated with certain phenotypes, such as Parkinson Disease.
